Platform requirements comparison
Requirements matrix reviewed against the provider links below on October 4, 2026. This compares approaches, not a vendor-price quote or a promise that every integration is supported. Do not enter passwords, patient information or sensitive account details.

List requirements before products
Start with catalog complexity, payment methods, delivery rules, customer accounts and the integrations you depend on. Mark requirements as necessary, useful or optional. A platform that works for a small public catalog may not suit account-specific B2B pricing or a complex made-to-order workflow.
Compare total responsibility
Ask who manages updates, backups if agreed, content, order problems and provider support. Review hosting, transaction arrangements, extensions and licensed services using the current provider documentation. Avoid comparing only an introductory monthly price while excluding required tools and the effort of running the store.
Test representative workflows
Use a provider-supported demonstration or test environment to walk through a product with variants, an unavailable item, a delivery exception and a refund. Evaluate mobile usability and accessibility as well as the administrator experience. A demonstration is evidence about that configuration, not a guarantee that every integration will behave the same way.
Plan an exit and a growth boundary
Ask what product, order, customer and website deliverables can be exported, and in what format. Exporting records is not necessarily exporting the complete storefront or every licensed feature. Document migration responsibilities and any proprietary dependency. Choose a platform after these questions are resolved rather than promising source portability without checking it.
