Domain, DNS and Professional Email — Configured Correctly

Get the technical foundation behind your website and business email configured without having to troubleshoot DNS records, redirects and provider settings yourself.

When the Technical Foundation Is Wrong

Misconfigured DNS, missing email authentication records and incorrect SSL settings cause problems that are difficult to diagnose and easy to overlook. Email lands in spam because SPF and DKIM are missing. Visitors see browser security warnings because SSL is misconfigured. Search engines index the wrong version of your site because redirects are missing. These are not visible problems until they cost you business — and by then, the damage is already done.

What You Get

Correctly configured DNS, email authentication and domain settings — verified after propagation so you know everything is working before handoff. Domain registration fees, Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 subscriptions are separate. DNS propagation and third-party provider processing times can vary.

  • Domain registration assistance
  • Domain transfers
  • DNS configuration (A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, TXT)
  • Domain forwarding and redirects
  • SSL certificate verification
  • Google Workspace configuration
  • Microsoft 365 email configuration
  • SPF configuration
  • DKIM configuration
  • DMARC guidance and configuration
  • Email-provider migration assistance

  • Subdomain configuration
  • Post-change testing and verification

Domain registration fees are separate. Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 and other provider subscriptions are billed directly by those providers. DNS propagation and third-party provider processing times can vary. For broader office IT, networking and computer support, visit thecomputerguy.me.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does DNS propagation take?
DNS propagation typically takes between a few minutes and 48 hours, depending on the record type, TTL settings and the DNS provider involved. Most changes propagate within a few hours. We monitor propagation and verify correct behavior after changes complete.
Can you set up Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 email for my domain?
Yes. MX records, SPF, DKIM and DMARC are configured for both Google Workspace and Microsoft 365. Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 subscription fees are separate from the configuration service and are billed directly by Google or Microsoft.
What are SPF, DKIM and DMARC?
SPF, DKIM and DMARC are email authentication standards that tell receiving mail servers your email is legitimate. Properly configured, they improve email deliverability and protect your domain from being used in phishing or spoofing attacks. Many businesses have these misconfigured or missing entirely.
Are domain registration fees included?
No. Domain registration fees are paid directly to the registrar and are separate from the configuration service. We can assist with the registration process, but the domain cost is yours.
What about broader IT support — computers, networking, office setup?
Broader office IT, networking and computer support is outside the scope of this service. For those needs, The Computer Guy provides IT support services at thecomputerguy.me.
